The Fresh Breaded range is so tasty and versatile, the mealtime possibilities are endless. We asked parents what their favourite side dishes are to accompany the fresh breaded range and have compiled the top three accompaniments to inspire your family mealtimes.

Southern Slaw with Bernard Matthews Southern Fried Steak


Ingredients
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 red cabbage
  • 1 Red onion
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • 3 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

Method
  1. Coarsely grate the carrots and place in a bowl.
  2. Finely slice the red onion, add to the carrot and mix well.
  3. Finely slice the cabbage and add to the bowl with the remaining ingredients.

Turkey Escalopes with Mediterranean Vegetables


Ingredients
  • 200g potatoes
  • 2 red peppers
  • 1 courgette
  • 1 red onion

Method
  1. Prepare a shallow roasting dish with non-stick cooking spray
  2. Combine potatoes and vegetables and place in roasting dish
  3. Garnish with salt and pepper
  4. Roast vegetables until tender, about 45 minutes
  5. Stir halfway through the cooking time

Turkey Escalope Deli Wrap


Ingredients

Method
  1. Preheat the oven and follow the instructions on the pack to cook the turkey escalopes
  2. Once they are fully cooked take them out of the oven, allow to cool and cut into thick slices
  3. Then lay the tortilla wraps on a clean board, and spread on the mayonnaise leaving a 1 cm gap around the outside
  4. Then layer on tomato, cucumber and turkey escalope slices
  5. Sprinkle over the cheese if having and then add some lettuce
  6. Then fold the both sides of the wrap halfway in, leaving room for the filling to spread out Fold the bottom third of the wrap up to make a little envelope. Then keep folding from the bottom upwards, tucking in the fillings as you go
  7. Cut in half and enjoy!
