Turkey Tikka Masala Recipe (Serves 2)

Serves 2
  • 100-200g (1-2 packs) Tikka Turkey Breast Pieces
  • 1/2 small onion, sliced
  • ½ Red Pepper, sliced
  • ½ Green Pepper, sliced
  • ½ Red Chilli, de-seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 clove Garlic, chopped
  • Very small piece of Ginger, chopped (less than 1cm)
  • 1/2 heaped tsp Curry powder
  • 200g Tinned Tomatoes, chopped
  • 50ml Natural Yoghurt
  • 1/2 Tomato, chopped
  • ½ bunch Coriander, chopped

  1. Heat a little oil in a pan
  2. Add the onion
  3. Add garlic, chilli and ginger and stir until they start to soften
  4. Add the curry powder
  5. Mix together for a few minutes until all ingredients are coated
  6. Add the peppers and continue to stir
  7. Cook until softened
  8. Add the tin of tomatoes
  9. Reduce the heat slightly and cook for 5 minutes
  10. Add the yogurt and chopped tomatoes. Stir
  11. Add the Tikka Turkey Breast Pieces and warm through for 3 or 4 minutes
  12. Add chopped coriander leaves to taste
  13. Serve with rice, warmed naan bread and poppadoms
