Turkey a la King

Simple, tasty and fit for a king!

This turkey recipe takes only half an hour to make, but it’s fit for a king.

Serves 3-4
  • 400g leftover christmas turkey (cooked)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 200g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 100g red pepper, chopped
  • 1 small tin sweetcorn (250ml drained)
  • 600ml chicken stock
  • 142ml cream
  • Seasoning
  • tagliatelle pasta
  1. Fry the onion in oil until softened. Add the sliced mushrooms and pepper and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  2. Add the sweetcorn and stock and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the leftover turkey and seasoning. Allow to heat through for a few minutes. Stir in the cream and serve on top of tagliatelle pasta..
