The best way to cook your turkey

All about turkey crowns, from what they are to how to defrost, cook and carve. You will find everything you need to know about why they make a great family mealtime choice.

What is a turkey crown?

A turkey crown is a joint of white breast meat on the bone from a whole turkey. The legs are always removed and often the wings are also. Crowns are quicker to cook, and easy to carve. Many small families opt for a crown to avoid having too many leftovers and as turkey breast meat is also low in fat, they are ideal for more health conscious eaters! And when it comes to roasting, you would treat a crown exactly as you would a whole bird.
