If you’re stuck for inspiration or want to jazz up your cooking, adding a few herbs and spices to your recipes and food is often the answer.

The spice rack is a valuable feature of any kitchen, stocked with little containers of flavours from around the world. If you don’t know how to use them or are a bit of a novice when it comes to flavouring food, it is certainly easier said than done.

After all, you wouldn’t want to use Chinese 5 Spice when making an Italian lasagne!
