Easy half term lunches

We cannot believe half term is here already. But yes school is out and days out are in. Which means it’s time to get super-prepared and rustle up some tasty lunchtime treats to keep the little ones happy.

But what do you do that is different! Like any good parent you are probably constantly rack your brains trying to think of something that is different, but essentially isn’t and something that is healthy, but essentially is still yummy!
Well although we have no magic wands to wave, we do have some tasty ideas that might cast a little magic over your little ones for lunch.

Turkey and roasted vegetable pittas

To help fuel your kids’ energy during the half term our turkey and roasted vegetable pittas are a tasty alternative to the traditional lunchbox sandwich! Using tasty low fat turkey breast slices and delicious roasted vegetables these tasty treats will become a firm favourite whatever your age!

Turkey satay sandwich recipe

Most kids love peanut butter right! Well if yours do then our Asian flavour filled turkey satay sandwich will hopefully do the trick. Bursting with our honey roast turkey breast slices which, which by the way contain only 1% fat and no artificial colours or flavours, they make for yet another lunch alternative to the traditional British sandwich as they are served in lightly toasted pitta bread – a growing favourite amongst kids!

Oriental turkey spring roll recipe

Keeping with the Asian theme our oriental turkey spring roll recipe is a real yummy snack or light lunch to wet any kids appetites. These little treats are great finger food for lunch, parties and days out – particularly when you serve them with sweet chilli dipping sauce – just be careful with the chillies – in fact keep them for dad later!
